PureLipo is an innovative, advanced type of liposuction that allows for effective fat removal and body sculpting in a single in-office visit, without the need for general anesthesia. This procedure involves the use of a specially formulated tumescent fluid and results in permanent removal of fat cells in the areas treated, which can include almost any area of the body. This is a minimally-invasive procedure that enhances the body's natural contours through the use of a small tube to remove fat cells from in between the skin and muscles, allowing for more precise sculpting than is possible with conventional liposuction methods.  Please look through the before and after photos on the PureLipo.com website until we get our own gallery online.

Can you treat any area of the body?
Body Sculpting can be performed on most areas of the body. The most popular treatment areas include the outer and inner thighs, upper arms, waist, neck, back, abdomen, buttocks, breasts and face.

How does Body Sculpting compare to other liposuction procedures?
Body Sculpting offers many advantages over conventional liposuction treatments, including:

• Less invasive than conventional liposuction
• Allows for the safer removal of up to four liters of fat in a single session
• Can be performed in an office or medspa setting
• Does not require general anesthesia, thus lowering associated risks
• Less bruising and bleeding than conventional liposuction
• Minimal downtime
• Little to no scarring
• Reduced instances of dimpling or ridges
• No damage to the dermis

Who should consider Body Sculpting?
Ideal candidates are people who have areas of fat that have not responded well to exercise and diet.

How is the procedure performed?

A Body Sculpting treatment session can generally be completed in approximately two hours, with the entire appointment taking about three hours, in most cases. Patients are given oral medication, as well as a local anesthetic that is included in the fluid that will be introduced into the treatment area. Patients stay awake during the procedure and are able to talk to the doctor and adjust their position to allow the doctor to access different areas of their body. After cleansing the area, the fluid is injected into the treatment area, which causes swelling and increased firmness. The doctor then makes a small incision in the skin, through which he or she will insert a thin tube, called a cannula. The doctor will move the cannula around to remove fat cells with the attached suction mechanism. This form of liposuction allows for more precise sculpting; therefore, the doctor will be able to use the cannula to enhance your body’s natural contours while removing fat.

What can I expect of the recovery process?
Patients will experience some swelling and drainage for a few weeks after the procedure and will need to wear compression garments to encourage drainage of the saline solution and to reduce swelling. Only minimal bruising should occur and most patients are able to return to regular daily activities within two to three days after treatment.

When will I see results?
Body Sculpting provides significant improvement in body contours and permanent removal of fat cells. Initial results generally become noticeable within about four weeks (after the swelling has subsided), with full results realized within approximately four months.

Are there any risks associated with Body Sculpting?

All liposuction procedures come with the risks of bleeding, infection or scarring; however, this technique has a good record of high patient satisfaction with little chance of side effects.

What are the costs associated with Body Sculpting?
As with most cosmetic procedures, costs associated with Body Sculpting will vary depending on the size and number of areas to be treated. Body Sculpting is generally more affordable than conventional liposuction treatments and most often costs less than $5,000 for a single treatment session.
